My family plays an integral role in my life.
They are my very favorite people and the best support system I could ask for.
My decision to pursue a career in education has been deeply influenced by both my mother and older sister. My mother was the very first teacher I had and she taught me how to be independent, hard working, and self-motivated in all that I do. My sister is an elementary teacher and she inspires me with the amount of passion and work she puts into delivering the very best education to her students. Both of these women serve as a reference for the type and quality of teacher I hope to be one day.

I am passionate about traveling to new places, learning about different cultures, and exploring the great outdoors. I spent the fall semester of 2018 studying abroad in Rome, Italy. Over the course of that semester, I traveled to Greece, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, France, Germany, and various locations all throughout Italy.
My passion for exploration is a quality that I will bring to bring to every classroom I am in and instill in every one of my students. I believe that if students develop a passion for exploration, their intrinsic motivation in school will also benefit.
